Dimitrios Panagopoulos

Dimitrios Panagopoulos (1916–1982) was a Greek Orthodox lay preacher, a layman with no formal theological training who began preaching in 1951. From 1956 he spoke weekly at the Three Hierarchs hall on Menandrou Street in Athens, delivering well over a thousand sermons there and thousands more across Greece and abroad. Remembered as a fervent preacher of repentance, hundreds of his homilies survive on tape.
